No second guesses or secret signs, tell me I got here at the right time.

Did I mention what we actually did on St. Patrick's day? We had a Connect Four tournament and watched Unsolved Mysteries on DVD. We're so hardcore.

The weekend after that me and Tommy went to see the Papal Chase (Kenny of Kenny vs. Spenny took a bet that he could meet pope John Paul II in a six day period)at the Bloor with throngs of seventeen year old boys. It was fantastic.

Then Kim called on Saturday about to die from strep throat which stupid Paul gave her. I had to run to the GO train to get to Oshawa to feed her and buy Advil. Came home on Sunday. Was called into work on Monday. Had a paper due on Tuesday and Thursday. Monday was the bi-yearly nervous breakdown caused by academic stress. I was balling over my Harvey's veggie burger. It was horrible.

But now everything's done. On Saturday, me, Kim and Tommy went to Baton Rouge for a fabulous (expensive) dinner. We ordered drinks which actually turned out to be martini's with three shots of Vanilla Absolut in each. It goes without saying that I was drunk by the time our meal arrived.

Here's a picture of Kim and her horrible posture.

We went to Black Market (it's the Salvation Army for rock stars and Queen Street West-ers) and I made Tommy buy a tight cowboy shirt that had pearl buttons AND silver thread. It's hot.

Kim left on Sunday and me and Tommy made the obligatory couples trip to IKEA. We didn't get there early enough for $1 breakfast but who ever does? It takes two subways and shuttle bus to get there. I was busy taking pictures inside of the Leslie station so we had to run for the shuttle.

Leslie station was made for all the rich people who don't use it. It's lovely and clean.

Tommy made the wonderful observation about the shuttle and it's occupation with the typical IKEA shoppers: the gay man in turtleneck, the eccentric older couple (wife with Andy Warhol bag), the new family from India with baby, us.

I bought a mini greenhouse so that I can have plants without James dying. It took Tommy half an hour to put it together. He's not very handy, but that's ok.

Wow, I just found this cat on the Humane Society website and he looks EXACTLY like James. I want to adopt him for the sake of the novelty but he was brought in because he was attacking neighbourhood children. Ha!

Oh, Tommy is moving to Toronto in two weeks because he got a job as a computer programmer in this fantastic high-rise downtown. He's trying to get an apartment near me which I think is sweet.

Josh Ritter is next weekend. And then two days later, my eight grade will, after seven years, come true. Shawn Mullins will be playing the Horseshoe. Soul's Core did not leave my cd player for the entirety of eight grade. I clung to it.
