My god, is it just me or has Katie Holmes been pregnant for EVER?! And always drinking Starbucks for that matter. Worst person ever.I spent last weekend with my Kim, my parents and both of my grandmas. They all picked me up in the Dominoes parking lot in Oshawa. We were a throng of brown-hairs in the sea of bleach blondes. I only spent the day there because of the need to write three papers by the end of the month.
My dad bought the camper that he wanted for a long time and we went to see it. All with smiles and cameras to our eyes. It sleeps eight people, has ac and heat, stove/sink/microwave, bathroom, cd player/stereo, and you can sit on the roof!
Here are my remarkably similar grandmas admiring the bathroom.
Kim on the top, coffin-like bunk.
My mom.
My dad. Yes, he's excited.
My grandma, exploring.
If you haven't noticed, I recently bought a digital camera so I hope we all like pictures.
This weekend to celebrate St. Patrick's day (the only day of the year where I can fake being Irish and it's acceptable) we (me, Kim and Tommy) are going to Hot Paul's for Strongbow and Guiness. We're going to watch The Commitments, the David Gray documentary of his tour through Ireland, make green snacks, read JP Donleavy's 'Ireland' outloud, play Clue whilst listening to the Frames' 'For the Birds' (on vinyl!), wear green, and discuss the possibility of us all moving into an apartment together. We figured why be lonely separately when we can have fun together?
On Saturday we're going to Black Market, Baton Rouge for supper, the Science Centre, and maybe a concert.
It's funny when we're all together because a) we all wear Converse b) all wear black square nerd glasses c) understand eachothers respective dorkiness. It is fantastic.
