Tell Mairéad that you saw me.

I don't really have anything to update on. I just wanted to use that line.

It was about -20C with the windchill a few days ago and has continued to be freezing yet I still have all my windows open and think that I'm having hot-flashes during the night. I do not like living on the top floor.

My grandma called yesterday and her hearing is really bad so she just generally tells story after story (every conversation turns to her stay in Brooklyn, making necklaces in a factory) and expects you to still be there even though she can't really hear you. I try to interject but she can't hear me so at the end of our conversation she said, "Well, you don't have too much to say so I'll let you go." Oh, I love her.

We haven't been to church on Christmas day in a long time so I asked her to go with me this year. I think our church is the only one with a nativity scene sheltered by a tee-pee, complete with a brown Indian baby Jesus/papoose.

So wrong on so many levels.
