Oh yeah, I work at Booster Juice now. I had my interview (which lasted all of five minutes, I didn't even get a chance to do my "I would be really proud to be a part of your team" speech") at 4:30pm and was working by 5:30pm. I was not at all prepared and it was really confusing at first. The first smoothie I ever made I almost turned the blender on without a cover. To quote the boy who I was making it for, "that would have been disasterous". Indeed, yes.I'm catching on now and everyone is surprised that this was only my first full day. This makes me happy because I thought I was doing horribly.
Also, I have an inkling that this line of work will give me carpal tunnel. All the scooping and scraping. Although I do get a free smoothie if I work for more than four hours. But after more than four hours the last thing I want to drink, see, or even think about is fruit, juice, and yoghurt. Actually, maybe even chipped ice too.
The Toronto Film Fest has started so all the beautiful people are out. We had a few photographers come in today. Oh and also a transvestite.
pixie - thank you for that little note
Jason - thank you for the email, you didn't really miss much for the Fembots, it was not the best time to see them for the first time, it was 400 degrees inside Soundscapes and the sound wasn't terribly good, come to the Luke Doucet/Fembots/Shout out out out out show it will me soooo much better.
