My apartment lies awake at night.

So apparently it's hellishly hot everywhere else (and it was here yesterday, I was not brave enough to go to class for fear of death) but today it was cold enough for a sweater. Or a fall coat.

As I walked down my street today, there sat about a hundred IKEA-2006 catalogues on someones walkway. By the time I had decided to steal one I was already three houses past. I didn't want to turn around and look dumb so I'll just have to wait until they're delivered. My new apartment is going to look like an IKEA showroom by the way. But that's ok, it's cheap and durable and that's all that really matters.

I hope my friends pixie and Maggie are happy in their new apartments in Seattle and Toledo.

Kim will be here tomorrow. Bearing gifts I hear. Sorry, but we only have Ringolos to eat.
