Remember when I nearly took off a chunk of my finger and thought I'd have to go get stitches at the clinic in the gay village because they are the only walk-in that offers minor surgery? Yeah well I cut the same finger with the same knife except this time the knife went through my nail to the skin below. Through the top of my nail!!!

My quilting book came in the mail today. I'm going to make a quilt. It will be the 'Trip to Ireland' pattern in dark brown, light green and cream. It's my first quilt so I'll try not to ruin it.

Kim rented Closer and we watched the Damien Rice video for Blower's Daughter. It is slightly laughable. He's so short and I quess I'm just not used to seeing him singing without a mic infront of him. It was just weird. And putting Lisa as the object of his affection, also weird. Why not Vyvienne?

Is it just me and my art history sensibility or does Kathleen Edwards' new cd cover look oddly like Andrew Wyeth's 'Christina's World'? Let's compare.

I remember writing about this painting on my eleventh grade history exam. I think I was the only person in my art class that actually enjoyed the two classes a month of art history. Therefore, my art teacher loved me.
