It's nice and all. It's better in the fall when you don't ask for much.

Wow. Luke Doucet was incredible. Sitting in tiny pews with hymn books and having a wall to ceiling organ as a backdrop made for a really nice experience.
The little four-piece orchestra of four violins and a cello was stunning. I was sceptical of his music (alt-country/jazz?) and how it would sound with strings but somehow it worked.
More pictures.

This guitar was breath-taking in person. It was like if Graceland was a guitar, it would be that one.

His friend passed away yesterday morning and at the end of the set he unplugged his guitar and came down from the stage and sang a song for her. It was so sad.

The ever enjoyable Lindy was in the audience and I spotted Joel from Man Made Food.

Out of the three men on the show, I just happened to like him the most.
This would take our Food Network chef sightings to a total of three (Kim saw the weird weird Italian brothers from Made to Order).
Sorry Americans, for this ultra-Canadian update.
